Day 01: HANOI – TRANSFER TO SAPA BY SHUTTLE BUS 

Pick Up at hotel in Hanoi and transfer to Sa Pa by shutle bus (5,5 hours driving)

Upon arrival, check in the hotel then free time for relax for the rest of the day.

 

*** Suggestion for night life in Sapa:

  • Visiting Sapa food court right next to Sapa central square. Trying many grilled dishes such as: grilled egg, grilled heart and stomach, grilled chicken, chestnut , etc.
  • Walking around the town for shopping
  • Seeing traditional dancing from ethnic people and music game show in Sapa square
  • A cup of beer or cocktail in the lively Street of Cau May

Day 2: SAPA- FULL DAY BAN KHOANG – TA GIANG PHINH

Leaving Sapa at about 08.30 am by vehicle heading northwards of Sapa along national road 4C for 8 km to O Quy Ho with several stops for magnificent landscapes of Fansipan.Mt, Sin Chai valley and especially amazing flower and vegetable farms.

Then turn right to follow a narrow tarmac for half an hour, getting through wild region with thick rain forest covering walled-up mountains, passing a beautiful waterfall before arriving to Ban Khoang commune, home to the Black Hmong & Red Zao ethnic peoples who live their unique way of life and well maintain their traditional values. The villages here are prosperous thanks to the combination of wet rice cultivation on the terraced fields with cardamom farming under the shade of thick rain forest. Spend over an hour walking to explore this remote village for a brief understanding of local life.

Leaving Ban Khoang and process along the road for about 10 km to Ta Giang Phin valley inhabited by the Black Hmong who live in several hamlets scattering along a peaceful stream.

Enjoy an hour picnic lunch break on the bank of a stream.

Enjoy about 2 hours walking along village path which connects hamlet to hamlets witnessing daily activities of local life such as plough and harrow the fields, growing, harvesting or doing house works. In leisure months men often gather to build new houses or repair parts of old ones while women stay home making their traditional costumes. The walk ends in mid- afternoon, picked up for the road ride back to Sapa.

 

Tour summary: Road transfer 55 km for 2 ways, approx. 3 hours/ Easy walk, sightseeing and visiting local homes from 4 to 5 hours.

Day 3: SAPA –  HALF DAY SILVER WATER FALL – TRANSFER TO HANOI  BY SHUTTLE BUS

A 30 minute drive takes you to Silver Waterfall (best seen in the rainy season from May to November), take a short walk to the waterfall where great views are offered of the surrounding mountains and lush forests of the Hoang Lien National Park. Being watched from afar, the waterfall is like a white dragon looking down from the sky. Continue by car 10 minutes up to Heaven’s Gate, from here you can see Fansipan mountain ‘the roof of Indochina’ at the height of 3143 meters above sea level.

After tour, transfer to the bus station for catching the bus back to Hanoi. End of service.
