4 DAYS –VIENTIANE EXPERIENCE

DAY 1: VIENTIANE – ARRIVAL     

Upon arrival at the airport, transfer to the airport, picked-up by our guide and transfer to your hotel (early check-in upon availability)

DAY 2: VIENTIANE – BUDDHA PARK

In the morning, we will first visit Wat Si Muang, which is very famous for its supernatural power. We then transfer out to see Buddha Park, an enchanting collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures on the Mekong Riverside meadow, close to the Friendship Bridge. There are approximately 200 religious images dating back over 500 years, which were created by a mysterious monk spreading his philosophy on life and revealing his ideas about the universe.
In the afternoon, we see the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket, the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to Lao’s national icon, the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop enroute to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. Mekong River at sunset is a perfect way to finish the day. Overnight in Vientiane

Day 3: VIENTIANE – NAM NGUM – VIENTIANE

We leave Vientiane on the road No 13 for an excursion by car or minivan to the Nam Ngum Reservoir, 100 Km from Vientiane. On the way, you stop at the Hmong village to visit the Market and meet the people. We arrive at Nam Ngum Reservoir at lunch time. Our lunch will be served at the boat restaurant on the lake. After lunch, you have the ample time to enjoy the view and the cold drink at the lake view bar. On the way back to Vientiane on the road No 10, you will stop to visit a traditional salt abstraction site at Ban Keun and continue to Dong Mark Khai Market where local people gather to sale wild animals and large selection of insects. We return Vientiane in the late afternoon.

Day 4: VIENTIANE – DEPARTUDE

You are free to stroll around before taking the departure flight
