Day 01: HANOI

Arrival Hanoi airport, warm welcomed by our guide & driver then transfer to the city for hotel check in.

Day 02: HANOI HALF DAY CITY TOUR

This half-day private tour of Hanoi showcases the best of a city known as the “Paris of the East”. Travelers will kick off their morning with a stop at the Ho Chi Minh Complex including:

• Ho Chi Minh mausoleum: It is the final resting place of Ho Chi Minh, the most iconic and popular leader of Vietnam, known to his people as ‘Uncle Ho’. His body is preserved here in a glass case at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in central Hanoi (albeit against his wishes).

*** Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays, 3 months per years (normally from 4 September to 4 November) while his embalmed body goes to Russia for maintenance.

• Ba Dinh square: one of Hanoi’s most famous historical relic sites, where many important national historical events in modern history took place,
• Ho Chi Minh stilt-house residence – a house Ho Chi Minh lived in from 1954 to 1958 and Presidential Palace (outside only)
• One Pillar pagoda – Built of wood on a single stone pillar, the pagoda is designed to resemble a lotus blossom, the symbol of purity, rising out of a sea of sorrow.

Afterwards, visitors with journey to the Temple of Literature, which was constructed as an homage to the great thinker Confucius. Travelers can wander the grounds of the first university in the nation, which dates all the way back to 1070! The historic halls are lined with decorative turtle backs inscribed with the names of university graduates. The afternoon will be free at Leisure.
